The Mandurah Photography Club is based in Mandurah, Western Australia and has been bringing people together since 1972 to share their passion for photography.

 

We offer learning opportunities for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. Whether you're a keen amateur or a professional photographer, you'll find something for you.

 

All our activities provide a social and learning experience. We hold club nights, workshops, outings, photo walks, exhibitions and more.

Club meetings include a monthly appraisal night.  Members' photographs, both digital and print, are critiqued by a qualified judge or photographic identity. Each image is assessed constructively so we can learn to improve our photography. There is always time during the meeting for an informal chat with other members to get some advice or help where needed.

Regular workshops with various topics help members develop and practice camera skills and computer-based image development.

​

Photo Walks are a popular activity with club members. Comprised of trips to locations in the Mandurah area, Photo Walks provide members and guests with opportunities to improve their skills and enjoy socializing around their shared interest in photography. Occasionally the club hosts day trips or weekends away to a country location.

​

As an affiliated club of the Western Australian Photographic Federation, our Club has access to additional resources, including the expertise of qualified judges from the Federation. Expert photographers also serve as mentors, offering guidance and support to members.
